When a car runs smoothly, you rarely think about the engine. But the moment you hear an unusual scraping noise or feel a sudden bump, anxiety sets in. Relationships and life transitions work the same way. When things start to feel bumpy, you don't have to navigate the stress alone. Just as you would trust a mechanic with your vehicle, I hope you can trust me as your therapist to help get you and your relationships back on track.

I see clients carrying the weight of trauma, grief, depression, and persistent anxiety. Whether you are facing couple and relational issues, navigating separation, divorce, or blended family dynamics, or working through substance use disorders and addiction, I provide a space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment to explore all of life’s challenges, with a focus on establishing inner and outer harmony for individuals, couples, and families throughout Savoy, Champaign-Urbana, and across Illinois via telehealth.

Therapeutic Approach & Modalities

My therapeutic approach is positive, relaxing, collaborative, and insightful. I aim to demystify the therapy process so you feel comfortable and grounded from your very first session. By integrating evidence-based systemic and relational frameworks, we work together to translate complex emotional challenges into practical strategies for communication, healing, and self-discovery.

Experience & Passion

I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. I have extensive experience working with children, teenagers, couples, families, and individuals of all ages on a wide variety of mental health and relational issues. I am particularly passionate about helping couples and families improve communication, reduce conflict, and rebuild genuine connection. I look forward to working with you.

Taking the first step toward therapy shouldn't be stressful. Our dedicated intake team at Champaign Counseling handles all administrative scheduling and insurance verification before your first visit so we can focus entirely on your clinical care. If I'm not the right fit for your schedule or goals, our team will connect you with another trusted clinician in our practice! Contact our team today or call (217) 203-2008 to get started.
